Trogir was voted best city-island in the world by National Geographic in 2015 and a is a place that is definitely worth visiting especially as it is so conveniently located between Zadar and Split. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has been since 1997.

We stood out on deck as we approached Dubrovnik looking out to the Adriatic Sea which was gleaming under the waking sun. With the beautiful backdrop of the mountains, it was absolutely stunning. The port of Dubrovnik is such a pretty palm-fringed harbour that we immediately felt relaxed and so happy to be there.

The town of Rovinj is very beautiful & quaint with winding cobbled streets leading through little alleyways which are full of tiny shops, and art shops. The shops don't sell the usual tacky souvenirs but really nice jewellery, clothing and lots of handmade items.
