During the 17th and 18th centuries, stately townhouses were built which are part of the charm of the old city, where dozens of buildings, some dating back 2000 years, are listed as Historical Monuments (Roman and Romanesque buildings are listed as Unesco World heritage monuments.

Read MoreAs we got onto the autoroute towards Pamplona the sleet turned to snow. Within 10-20 minutes it was really heavy and laying and within no time it was a foot deep. This was very scary as HGV’s were jackknifing and getting stuck.

We spent a few weeks trawling the internet, visiting various motorhome dealers in the area and we also visited the Caravan and Motorhome show at the NEC Birmingham to get a good idea of the sort of things we wanted in our Motorhome.
