Arles, Six Fours Plages and Sanary s Mer, Southern France

We spent a few hours walking around and had lunch in the old city of Arles.  During the 17th and 18th centuries, stately townhouses were built which are part of the charm of the old city, where dozens of buildings, some dating back 2000 years, are listed as Historical Monuments (Roman and Romanesque buildings are listed as Unesco World heritage monuments.

What can I say about Tossa De Mar We love it and plan to come back and maybe stay in a hotel on the seafront. It’s got everything you could want.  A bit of history with the castle ruins, lots of lovely shops and plenty of nice little Spanish bars and restaurants
